Al-Mashat: The war against the Zionist enemy is the war of the entire Islamic nation.
According to Yemen’s Ansarullah War Media, on Monday evening, in his speech on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the reunification of Yemen, Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen, once again emphasized the Arab-Islamic nature of the recent war with the Zionist regime, stating: The fight against the Zionist regime is a comprehensive duty for the Islamic Ummah, and no party can shirk its responsibility; because this enemy is the enemy of all of us.
Emphasizing the continuation of the path of resistance and jihad, he said: The current battle is, in essence, an Arab and Islamic battle against the usurping and occupying Zionist enemy; an enemy that has not targeted only Palestine or Gaza, but has targeted the entire Islamic Ummah, with its land, nation, and dignity.
Al-Mashat added: Therefore, the responsibility to confront this enemy does not lie solely on the shoulders of a specific country or group, but rather is a collective duty that is required by its destiny and common enemy.
Referring to the continuation of the struggle to liberate Yemeni territory from the occupiers and full readiness to confront any renewed aggression by the US and its allies, the Yemeni official noted: Our decision remains firm and we will provide the full power of our armed forces to the people of Gaza until the aggression stops and the siege ends.
We say to our brothers in Gaza: Do not worry about the treachery of the traitors, God is with you, and we are with you.
He continued, criticizing the countries that have placed the wealth of the Islamic Ummah at the disposal of its enemies, saying: While our nations are suffering and under siege, the halls are filled with empty words of praise and deceptive promises; promises that were nothing but mirages and hypocritical lies, such as Trump’s promises.
Referring to the recent US attacks on Yemeni territory, Al-Mashat said: I will not say anything about the recent US aggression, which was carried out in the service of the Zionist regime, because what happened revealed the truth to the world.
He added: “There is no threat to shipping, except for those who have committed aggression or supported the crimes of the Zionists. In short, one side initiated the war, and the other side defended; when the attacking side stopped, we also stopped [attacking their ships].
