Al-Qassam’s “Stone of David” triumphs over Israel’s “Gideon’s Chariots”
Rami Abu Zubaydah, an expert on Arab military and security affairs, said: The ambushes carried out by the Al-Qassam Brigades under the title of “David’s Stone” are a strategic development in the field performance of the Palestinian resistance and prove that it holds the initiative in the fight against the occupiers.
He added: What happened in “Khan Yunus, Jabalia and Al-Shuja’iya” in the Gaza Strip against the Zionist soldiers was not simply a bomb explosion in their path, but a complex operation and a combination of intelligence and calculated bombing and luring the Israeli soldiers to the ambush, which was carried out based on in-depth field research and accurate information.
The expert emphasized: The human losses suffered by the special forces of the occupying army, especially the “Gaf’ati” brigade and the 98th Commando brigade, caused an earthquake within the security institutions of this regime, especially after reports of the weak preparation of the ground forces and the failure of the enemy’s tanks and weapons.
Abu Zubaydah added: “The naming of the operation as David’s Stone against the occupation operation known as Gideon’s Chariot is not a coincidence, but David is among Muslims and Jews as a weak youth who overcame the tyrant Goliath. This shows the strength of will, belief, and tactics despite the weakness of resources against an enemy armed to the teeth who has been crushed by the resistance.”
The expert emphasized: This operation is considered a turning point in the balance of war tactics in Gaza and emphasizes that the Al-Qassam Brigades still have engineering and logistical capabilities despite the siege and devastating bombardments. The ambushes carried out require precise intelligence monitoring and analysis of the movements of Israeli forces. This shows that the resistance has a flexible organizational structure that is capable of simultaneously managing booby traps, reconnaissance, retreat, and fire support.
Abu Zubaydah stated: “These ambushes seize the enemy’s initiative and turn his soldiers into moving targets in the field, and show the fragility of the concept of dominance that the occupiers boast about.”
