Al-Sanwar’s important message from the Gaza battlefield for the leaders of Hamas.
The leader of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Yahya al-Sanwar, in the last two days, in a letter to the political leaders of Hamas, described the situation in the field of the battle in the Gaza Strip and emphasized the defeat of the occupying army against the power of Kataib al-Qassam.
“Kataib al-Qassam has launched an intense, violent, and unprecedented battle against the Israeli occupying forces and has inflicted heavy losses of lives and equipment on them.” Al-Sanwar wrote this from the heart of the battlefield in Gaza to the head and members of the political office of Hamas, on the eve of the 80th day of the war.
According to the Al Jazeera website, this letter was sent to the leaders of Hamas in the middle of Tel Aviv’s efforts to establish a temporary ceasefire through Qatari and Egyptian mediators, so that the movement continues to emphasize its position in establishing a comprehensive ceasefire and the withdrawal of the Israeli military in exchange for the release of Israeli prisoners.
Earlier, the Zionist television reported that al-Sanwar has an “organized program” to end the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip, which began on October 7. The plan “includes the withdrawal of army forces as part of a long-term ceasefire agreement and the retention of some Israeli hostages as a bargaining chip in the future.”
The leader of Hamas in Gaza added that Kataib al-Qassam targeted about 5,000 soldiers and officers during the ground battle, one-third of whom were killed, another third were seriously injured and the last third suffered permanent disabilities. At the level of military equipment and vehicles, 750 units have been completely or partially destroyed. In his message, while appreciating the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, Al-Sanuwar said that they presented unique examples of sacrifice, heroism, chivalry, solidarity, and unity, and the political leadership must quickly heal the wounds of the people and strengthen their steadfastness.
