Al-Sudani: It is forbidden to use Iraqi territory to invade neighboring countries.
After arriving in Baghdad, Turkish Defense Minister Yashar Guler met with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani.
According to the official Iraqi news agency, in this meeting, the two sides discussed the relations between the two countries and the importance of strengthening bilateral security cooperation. in a way that can realize the security and stability of Iraq and Turkey.
In this meeting, Mohammad Shia al-Sudani emphasized that the security of Iraq and Turkey is related to each other like all neighboring countries, and conducting trips and meetings between the officials of the two countries will lead to greater coordination and understanding between Iraq and Turkey in the field of supporting security and stability.
The Prime Minister of Iraq also emphasized his country’s adherence to the principles of the constitution, based on which it is forbidden to use Iraqi lands to invade neighboring countries.
He said that several measures have been taken in this regard, especially in the border strip between Iraq and Turkey.
