Al-Sudani: Targeting resistance commanders was a blow to all norms and laws.
During his speech on the fourth anniversary of the martyrdom of the resistance commanders in Iraq, the Prime Minister of Iraq, Mohammad Shia al-Sudani, while condemning this crime, emphasized the decision of the Baghdad government to pursue the expulsion of foreign forces from his country.

The Prime Minister of Iraq emphasized that the Baghdad government will not fail to end the presence of the international coalition in this country; Because the justifications for its existence have ended.

Regarding the details of the end of this presence, Al-Sudani noted that the bilateral committee formed to review the preparations for the end of the presence of the international coalition and its members are determining the date of the start of the talks.

He said about the American crime in the assassination of resistance commanders, “The attack that led to the martyrdom of Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis and Qassem Soleimani was a blow to all the norms and laws governing our relations with Washington.”

The Prime Minister of Iraq also clarified about Hashd al-Shaabi that the forces of this organization are official representatives affiliated with the government and subordinate to it, which are an integral part of the Iraqi armed forces.

With the start of the al-Aqsa storm operation by the Islamic resistance movement Hamas against the Israeli regime and with the participation of Iraqi resistance groups in this battle, American military bases located in this country have targeted the headquarters of Hashd al-Shaabi and Kataib Hezbollah several times.

In another part of his speech today, al-Sudani repeated the “warning about the consequences of continued barbaric attacks against Gaza in the region and the world” and clarified that “the government is the only institution allowed to apply the law and no party can encroach on the sovereignty of Iraq.”
