PNN – An Algerian expert stated that China’s hosting of talks between Fatah and Hamas with the aim of promoting internal reconciliation between Palestinian groups is an effective measure, said: These talks can be an important opportunity to resolve the main conflicts in the Middle East.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network from Xinhua news agency, Algerian political expert Fatah Hanou said regarding the hosting of the Chinese government for a dialogue between representatives of Fatah and Hamas: This action will help to find practical and realistic solutions for the Palestinian issue.
Beijing recently hosted representatives of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fath) and the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) to reconcile and improve the level of cooperation between these two Palestinian movements, which attracted the attention of the Middle East and the people of this region are waiting for China to play a role in this matter.
In this regard, Azzam Ahmed, a member of the Fatah Movement’s Central Committee, said: Beijing always supports the cause of Palestine, and we hope that China’s efforts can further promote reconciliation within Palestine.

By issuing a statement, the Hamas movement appreciated Beijing’s support for Palestinian aspirations and China’s efforts to promote intra-Palestinian unity and realize the vision of our people.
Former Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of Palestine, Mazen Al-Shamiyah, stated that our country is currently at a critical and important stage and our factions need to solve internal problems, and added: The invitation of China in these two movements took place at the right time and has had positive results, and we hope that more results will be achieved in the future.
Earlier, Wang Wenbing, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, said regarding the visit of representatives of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and the Palestinian Liberation Movement (Fathah) to Beijing: We will always support the strengthening of the authority of the Palestinian National Authority and the reconciliation and expansion of unity among the Palestinian groups through dialogue.
One of the leaders of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) had previously announced to the Al-Mayadeen network that this movement has agreed to China’s invitation to all Palestinian factions to attend a meeting called “National Reconciliation”.
After Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on April 18 that the United States should support the UN resolution to establish a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. Chinese authorities have increasingly addressed the occupation’s ongoing encroachments on the Gaza Strip.
