According to Pakistan News Network, quoted by Fars, Tel Aviv’s ambassador to Washington, Michel Herzog, says that the regime is looking for a long-term plan for Gaza and is consulting with the United States about this issue.
In an interview with Fox News, Herzog said: Our position is that the Palestinians should manage Gaza themselves. The role that the Palestinian Authority should play is still unclear and it remains to be seen what will happen because everyone knows that the Palestinian Authority can hardly manage Ramallah now.
Israel’s ambassador in Washington claimed that the Palestinian Authority must reform itself.
