America also sanctioned the Telegram channel “Gaza Hala” and its founder

PNN – In continuation of its sanctions against Hamas since the attack of this group known as Al-Aqsa storm operation against Israeli positions on October 7, 2023, the US Treasury Department announced that the telegram channel “Gaza Hala” and its founder “Mustafa Ayash” were accused of collecting donations.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the US Treasury announced on Wednesday local time: The US Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) on Wednesday sanctioned two individuals and three entities as major financial facilitators for Hamas.

The US Department of Treasury added: “Following the terrorist attack on October 7, 2023, which was carried out by Hamas against Israel, the entity known as “Gaza Now” made efforts to collect financial aid to support Hamas. This institution and its founder named “Mustafa Ayash”, as well as Al-Quraishi Executive companies and recently Al-Quraishi and the director of these two companies, Aozma Sultane, tried to collect financial aid for Hamas.

Brian Nelson, Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence, said: The Treasury Department remains committed to limiting Hamas’ ability to finance its terrorist activities, including through virtual fundraising campaigns. The US, in close coordination with its British partners, will continue to use the tools necessary to disrupt Hamas’ ability to facilitate further attacks.

The United States of America has been saying since the October 7, 2023 Hamas operation that it does not see any role for this group in the future.

Matthew Miller, the spokesman of the US State Department, said on Tuesday local time, in response to the question whether Washington considers a role for Hamas in the future of Palestine and the political solution considered: “Not at all.”

British claim: We will do our best to implement the ceasefire resolution of the Security Council

The spokesperson of the US State Department, repeating Washington’s claims about Hamas, claimed: Hamas is a merciless terrorist group that had committed terrorist attacks even before the heinous attack of October 7, 2023. Hamas has no right to political participation because its hands are stained with blood.

On October 7th, 2023, the Palestinian resistance groups led by Hamas launched the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation from Gaza against the positions of the Israeli regime, and finally, on November 24th, 2023, a four-day temporary ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, or the pause for the exchange of prisoners between Hamas and Israel. This pause or temporary ceasefire lasted seven days and finally ended on December 10, 2023, and the Israeli regime resumed attacks on Gaza.

Finally, after nearly 6 months of Israel’s war in Gaza, on March 25, 2024, the members of the United Nations Security Council, with 14 positive votes of this council, as well as the abstention vote of the United States and the absence of a veto by the United States, agreed to Resolution 2728 to establish an immediate ceasefire in Gaza between Israel and Hamas in the remaining 15 days of the holy month of Ramadan.

The United States had previously vetoed three ceasefire resolutions, but this time it abstained from voting on this resolution, and in this way, due to the lack of opposition from the permanent members of the Security Council, this resolution was approved without any opposition. This resolution was approved by 10 non-permanent members of the Security Council.

This resolution called for the implementation of an immediate ceasefire in Gaza in the month of Ramadan and said that the immediate ceasefire in the month of Ramadan should be observed by all parties, which would lead to a sustainable ceasefire.

The resolution also calls for the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages and guarantees humanitarian access to meet their medical and other humanitarian needs, and calls on the parties to fulfill their obligations under international law in relation to all detainees.

Following the approval of this resolution, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office announced: The trip of the Israeli delegation to Washington, which was supposed to discuss the operation in Rafah, was canceled.

Netanyahu’s office announced in this statement: America has withdrawn from its decisive positions and the Israeli delegation will not go to Washington. This American action harms the efforts to free the prisoners; Because it carries a message for Hamas that international pressure will allow a ceasefire agreement to be reached without the release of prisoners.
