America and West Asia; Trump is part of the problem, not the solution

PNN – Some analysts associate some of the reasons for the formation of developments in the region, including the Al-Aqsa storm, with the intensification of anti-occupation sentiments as a result of first-round of the policies of Trump, including the possibility of the progress of normalization with the Zionist regime.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Donald Trump, the president-elect of the United States yesterday, in a message on Truth Social, threatened that if the Zionist prisoners are not released before his inauguration ceremony, he will raise hell in the Middle East region.

He wrote in a message on his social network Truth Social: If the Israeli prisoners are not released before January 20, 2025 – that is, the day I proudly assume the position of the President of the United States of America – hell will break loose in the Middle East and for those who have committed these crimes against humanity.

He emphasized: Those responsible will receive a blow that will be more severe than anyone received in the long and recorded history of the United States of America. Free the hostages now.

Trump’s use of regional conditions

The reports that were published earlier in the media indicate that Donald Trump is seeking to present himself as a peacemaker in the West Asian region.

In this regard, the Axios base, close to American and Zionist sources, reported that Donald Trump told Netanyahu that he wants the war in Gaza to be over when he enters the White House.

He has clarified his views on why he wants to end the Gaza war in his interviews and comments. The first reason here is that Donald Trump has claimed that the wars in Ukraine and Gaza would not have happened if he was the president.

The inconsistency of Trump’s claim and action

Of course, what Trump is actually looking for is only the “image” that is important to be able to show it to others. Otherwise, with a simple reality check, one can realize that Trump is neither a powerful figure that was able to end a war, nor is he a person with pacifist and humanitarian views that the suffering of war would make him feel uncomfortable for others.

Witness the discussion that Donald Trump in the first term of his presidency not only did not help to put down the war in Yemen, but also blew on the fire of this war by increasing the sale of weapons to Saudi Arabia.

On the other hand, many analysts rightly believe that the current escalation of tensions in the West Asian region is the result of the policies that Trump has in his first term in the White House.

The transfer of the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the so-called “Deal of the Century” policy, and the recognition of Israel’s alleged sovereignty over the Golan Heights are only part of Trump’s support for Israel’s occupation.

Saving Israel from the abyss

But the second reason why Trump wants to end the war in Gaza is his respect for the poor situation of the Zionist regime. In an interview with a Zionist media in March, he said that Israel should end this war because it is losing.

He said: You must end this war. You have to finish it. We need to reach peace. We cannot allow this war to continue and I must say that Israel must be very careful because it is losing a large part of the world.

Therefore, Trump’s warning about the necessity of freeing prisoners should be seen on the one hand in line with his attempt to present an image of himself as a politician who creates peace through power, and on the other hand, in line with the support he intends to provide for the existence of the Zionist regime.
