PNN – The American army claimed that the Zionist regime troops officially started withdrawing from the occupied parts of Lebanon and were replaced by Lebanese forces.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on X social network on Thursday morning that CENTCOM commander Michael Eric Kurila traveled to Beirut on Wednesday and met with General Joseph Aoun, commander of the Lebanese Armed Forces, and General Jasper Jeffers, co-head of the mechanism for monitoring and implementing the cessation of hostilities agreement between Israel and Lebanon.
Centcom announced in its statement that “Korila was present at the center of monitoring and implementation” of the agreement during the first withdrawal of Israeli forces and the replacement of the Lebanese Armed Forces in Al-Khayam.

Kurila said: This is the first important step in the implementation of the cessation of hostilities agreement, which provides the ground for continued progress.
Centcom announced: Kurila and General Aoun discussed the current security situation in Syria, which affects the region, as well as ways to increase military cooperation between the Lebanese Armed Forces and Centcom.
US President Joe Biden announced on Tuesday evening that a ceasefire agreement had been reached between Lebanon’s Hezbollah and the Zionist regime.
The ceasefire between the Zionist regime and Lebanon with international mediation came into effect on Wednesday morning.
Since the implementation of this agreement, the Israeli army has violated it several times and prevented the return of Lebanese refugees to some towns and villages in the south of this country.
