Citing Al Jazeera, the Wall Street Journal quoted an American official as saying that Washington changed its position on the Israeli regime’s attack on the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip after the regime called Jake Sullivan, the American national security adviser, during the program. The revised plans of Tel Aviv regarding the invasion of this city have changed.
The publication of the news about the change of the US position regarding the attack on Rafah comes at a time when the spokesman of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) “Abdul Latif Qanoa” emphasized that the Rafah land crossing has always been a Palestinian-Egyptian crossing and will remain so.
He pointed out that the Zionist enemy is fully responsible for closing the Rafah crossing during military operations against the Palestinian nation.
The spokesman of the Hamas movement clarified that the attack on Rifa has deepened the humanitarian crisis as a result of preventing the entry of aid and goods into the Gaza Strip.
