He said about America’s illegal presence in Syria: America is taking Syria’s oil, gas, and grains as hostages. According to the latest statistics announced by the Syrian Oil Ministry, the amount of Syrian oil stolen by the United States has reached 115 billion dollars.
Al-Maqdad demanded the return of this looted amount and compensation to the Syrian people and asked the international community and the United Nations to hold America accountable for stealing Syrian oil.
The Syrian Foreign Minister further said: that American occupiers and their helpers should know that this occupation will not last.
Al-Maqdad emphasized China’s role in strengthening peace in the Middle East: China succeeded in reconciling Saudi Arabia and Iran because China has strong relations with the countries of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He clarified: that China has an independent and impartial policy and is trusted by all parties. The Arab world’s relations with China are based on common interests. Syria supports Arab-Chinese cooperation and is optimistic about the future of relations between Arab countries and China.
