America has used ISIS as an excuse for continuing its military presence in Iraq.
According to Al-Malouma, “Mohammed Al-Sahaf”, the spokesman of the Iraqi People’s Rights Movement, emphasized that the US side supports terrorist groups to ensure their interests in Iraq.
He further added: America is trying in every possible way to protect the remnants of the ISIS terrorist organization in Iraq as an excuse to prolong its presence in this country.
Al-Sahaf added: America’s position is the continuation of military presence in Iraq to guarantee its interests in this country and the region, especially the Persian Gulf.
He stated that the US presence in Iraq is illegal and must be ended through legal and diplomatic channels based on a specific timetable.
Lebanese writer and political analyst Hadi Qobaisi emphasized yesterday that America is trying to revive and activate Takfiri groups to remain in the region.
He added: This country used ISIS in Tunisia to blow up Shiite mosques in Kuwait. Americans also used ISIS elements in Syria to their advantage.
Qobaisi added: America is well aware of the failure of its strategy in the Gaza war and the advances of the resistance axis in the region by directly targeting the Zionist regime. This country knows that religious and cultural sensitivities in the Islamic world have diminished due to the solidarity between different groups around the axis of supporting the Palestinian resistance.
