American Ambassador: It is wrong to believe that the relations between Washington and Tel Aviv have changed

PNN – The American ambassador in Tel Aviv once again fully supported the crimes committed by the Zionist army in the Gaza Strip and said: The belief that there has been a fundamental change in US-Israel relations is wrong.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Washington’s ambassador to Tel Aviv, Jack Lowe, in an interview with the Zionist channel 12, rejected the fundamental change in the relations between the US and the Zionist regime and said: Just to be clear, we provided a significant amount of aid to Israel, and we did so even before October 7th, and we increased it after that time.

He added: “Even this week, when everyone was focused on the decision to delay and ban the shipment of weapons to Tel Aviv, everything continued as usual.”

The American ambassador said: We have had discussions about large bombs that can be used in densely populated areas.

He added: When there is a possibility of using these types of bombs in densely populated areas, we should talk about it, but in my opinion, it is wrong to think that there has been a fundamental change in the relations between Washington and Tel Aviv.

Washington’s ambassador in Tel Aviv said about US President Biden’s statement that he would not provide weapons to the Israeli regime if it decides to carry out a large-scale ground attack on Rafah: What the president (Biden) said is that he does not think it is a good idea to start a military operation in Rafah and a large ground attack in a densely populated area, and he specifically said that multi-ton bombs should not be used in this environment.

By implicitly acknowledging the inability of the Israeli and American regimes to destroy the Hamas movement, he said: We have learned from our experience in hard wars that there is a difference between destroying something and not having it exist so that it is no longer a threat, [so] the challenge is to weaken Hamas to the point where it no longer exists.

Lowe continued: The Biden administration has constantly said that Hamas should not be a political or governmental entity, but this does not mean that you should eliminate any kind of its activities.

Washington’s ambassador’s statements in Tel Aviv were made at the same time as Foreign Minister Anthony Blinken’s statement, in which Blinken said: Hamas fighters are returning to the northern areas of the Gaza Strip, where Israel announced that it had eliminated the militants.
