PNN – A group of American Christians has declared in a letter to the U.S. President that Syria’s minorities are exposed to violence, crimes, and discrimination by the ruling terrorists in Damascus.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing The Washington Times, a group of American Christian leaders announced that on Monday they will deliver a letter to U.S. President Donald Trump, urging him and congressional leaders to take immediate action to support Christians and other religious minorities under persecution in Syria.
The letter, prepared under the initiative of the organization “Rescue Christians Under Persecution,” is being sent to the White House ahead of Trump’s scheduled meeting on Monday with Abu Muhammad al-Julani, the leader of the ruling terrorists in Syria.

Signatories of the letter have asked Trump to directly address the issue of the “massacre of religious minorities,” including Christians, Kurds, Druze, and Alawites, with the head of the Syrian interim government.
Another section of the letter states that religious minorities in Syria continue to face violence, death, displacement, hunger, and deprivation of water and medicine.
The letter has been signed by more than 50 Christian activists and leaders.
In the letter, the Christian leaders urged Trump to ensure that the Syrian president fulfills his commitment to open a secure humanitarian corridor from Hader to Sweida, which, according to them, would provide safe passage for aid delivery and the transfer of civilians.
Reports indicate that following the fall of the legitimate Syrian government last December, hundreds of Syria’s religious and ethnic minorities—particularly Alawites, Druze, and Christians—have fallen victim to violence by pro-Julani militias.
Minority leaders emphasized that this new wave of violence constitutes a “crime against humanity” and contradicts Julani’s promises of “equality for all citizens.”
