American diplomats’ criticism of the Biden administration’s approach to the Gaza war

PNN – In a note seen by Politico, the US State Department staff have severely criticized the Biden administration’s approach to the Gaza war.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the staff of the US State Department have severely criticized the Biden administration’s approach to the Gaza war in a memo that was seen by Politico.

In this note, the staff of the US State Department said that Washington should be willing to publicly criticize the Israelis. This message shows the loss of confidence among American diplomats regarding Biden’s approach to the Middle East crisis.

Politico has described the memo published by US State Department employees against Joe Biden as a sign of internal anger among US State Department employees regarding Joe Biden’s policies in the Middle East.

According to “Politico”, in a critical note, the employees of the US State Department criticized the way the Biden government managed the war between the Zionist regime and Hamas and argued that the United States should publicly criticize the policies of the Zionist regime in this matter in many cases.

This note indicates the increasing decrease in confidence of American diplomats in Joe Biden’s approach to the Kharomian crisis and shows the feelings and opinions of many American diplomats in the middle and lower ranks of this ministry towards the Biden administration.

Referring to the statements presented in this letter, Politico has stated that, influenced by the conversation with some diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, if such internal disputes in the Biden administration intensify, it can make his policies towards the region much more difficult.

In this memo, the employees of the US State Department have raised two key requests from the Biden administration. First, the Biden government should support the establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza, and secondly, it should establish a balance between its private and public messages to the Zionist regime. For example, to discuss matters related to criticizing this regime’s military tactics and its behavior with Palestinians privately with this regime.

The note states that the Biden administration should publicly criticize the violation of international norms by the Zionist regime, such as its refusal to limit offensive operations to legitimate military targets in Palestine.

This note is marked “Sensitive but Unclassified”. However, it is not clear how many employees of the US State Department signed this memo and when this memo was written.

However, Politico wrote that the arguments presented in it could be an open window to the thinking of many people in the US State Department regarding the decades-long conflict between the Zionist regime and Palestine.

So far, the US State Department has refused to comment on this published note.
