American F-18 fighter jet crashes over Yemeni waters/Ansarullah: We have entered into a comprehensive battle with the enemy.
According to Al Jazeera, the US military announced the crash of one of its F-18 fighter jets over the Red Sea in Yemen.
The US military statement claimed that the incident was the result of mistaken fire by US forces, while the possibility of the fighter jet being targeted by Yemeni forces is also being considered.
The US Central Command reported that one of the pilots of the fighter jet was injured in the incident.
Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, stressed that terrorist aggression against Yemen will not cause the country to stop supporting Gaza.
He added: “The US Central Command will never reveal the truth about the downing of the country’s fighter jet.”
Houthi wrote in a post on X: “Perhaps this is an American tactic to avoid further weakening the morale of its forces.”
