American investigative journalist: Biden is seeking war with Russia in order to increase his popularity

PNN – Seymour Hersh, an American journalist, announced in an interview that US President Joe Biden is probably seeking war with Russia with the aim of increasing his popularity before the presidential elections of his country.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network from TASS news agency, to this end, Biden signed a $95 billion foreign aid bill in late April, which includes the approval and delivery of weapons to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. 61 billion dollars of this foreign package is for Ukraine.

Pulitzer Prize winner Hersh, who had previously made many revelations about the actions of the United States in Iraq and Afghanistan, said in an interview in this regard that Biden may want to go to war with Russia to boost his popularity ahead of his country’s 2024 presidential election.

Hersh said in this interview: I do not know why. But I can tell you one thing about American presidents; They [members of Joe Biden’s administration] have pointed out that presidents like Abraham Lincoln and Franklin Roosevelt who won wars would have been famous and great presidents.

The journalist then added: So they always felt that a war president in particular would always get better ratings.

Tass mentioned in another part of this article: After signing the $95 billion foreign aid bill, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced in a statement that this is the fifth security aid package that Biden has authorized since signing the National Security Supplemental Bill.

After Washington’s action, Russian President Vladimir Putin once again emphasized that sending more weapons to Ukraine will not change the state of the war and will only prolong it.
