PNN – The leader of the Democratic majority of the US Senate, in a speech repeating Washington’s accusations against Iran, claimed that Joe Biden seeks to prevent the escalation of tensions.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the website of the NBC news network published a short video of Schumer’s speech, in which he claimed by repeating Washington’s accusations against Iran and the axis of resistance: Iran and its proxies are the most destabilizing force in the Middle East and we see every day in Yemen, the Red Sea, Lebanon, Iraq and Syria.
He added: The President of the United States and his government are trying hard to prevent the escalation of tensions and to be ready to defend against any attack and respond quickly if necessary.
The Qatari channel Al Jazeera also quoted him and wrote that the volume of tensions in the Middle East is very high and therefore America should be ready.

NBC recently wrote in a report that while the United States categorically denied any involvement in the Zionist regime’s attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, American officials are worried that Iran’s retaliatory action will affect American forces in the region.
According to these officials, American forces stationed in the region are currently on high alert.
A senior US government official also told CNN that Washington is on high alert and is actively preparing for a “significant” strike that could be launched by Iran this week, targeting Israeli or US assets in the region.
CNN wrote that senior American officials, like their Israeli counterparts, believe that an Iranian attack is “certain”. Washington and Tel Aviv are desperately trying to prepare for the consequences of this attack because they predict that an Iranian attack could happen in different ways and endanger American and Israeli forces in addition to property and assets.
