American media: Hamas is far from defeat

PNN – The American newspaper Wall Street Journal emphasized in a report that Hamas is far from defeating in Gaza.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network from Al Jazeera, The American newspaper Wall Street Journal wrote in a report that the assessment of the Zionist regime and American officials indicates that Benjamin Netanyahu is far from his goal of achieving a complete victory.

The assessment of the current and former military officials of the Zionist regime and US intelligence estimates show that whether or not the Zionist regime continues its massive attack on the city of Rafah, Hamas will most likely remain and continue to operate in other areas of the Gaza Strip.

This American media also reported, quoting a reserve soldier of the Zionist army, that Hamas is currently attacking Jabalia in the north of Gaza with more intensity and throwing more anti-tank weapons.

The US Deputy Foreign Minister had previously said that the idea and claim of the Zionist regime’s complete victory over the Hamas movement is unreal.

Curt Campbell, US Deputy Secretary of State, said: Sometimes when we listen closely to the words of the leaders of Israel, they talk more about the idea of a complete and extensive victory on the battlefield.

He also stated that, I don’t think that there is a possibility of victory that we want to believe, and added: Currently, many countries are inclined to see a political solution in this regard, in which the rights of the Palestinians are more to be observed.

American writer and analyst Seth Frantzman also stated earlier that one of the biggest misconceptions is that Hamas has suffered heavy losses and weakened during the Zionist attack on Gaza and said: It must be said that Hamas has not weakened at all.

Frantzman wrote in his user account on X social media (former Twitter): Hamas has not only not weakened, but has returned to 90% of Gaza.

This American analyst and writer pointed out that the Zionist regime’s forces returned many times to areas like El-Zitoun to fight with Hamas again, and said: This proves that Hamas forces will immediately return to the areas from which Israel withdraws.

Frantzman went on to point out that there is currently no evidence to show that Hamas is under pressure, and noted: If Hamas was under pressure, we would see concessions from it to Israel.

He also pointed out that the Zionist regime claimed in November during the first exchange of Zionist prisoners that the prisoners would be released by pressure, and added: There is currently no evidence that this pressure will continue, and Hamas immediately realized that Israel would leave most of Gaza, and all it had to do was wait.

Frantzman went on to say that the Zionist media claim that Hamas has lost around 10,000 to 14,000 fighters during the seven months of war, and emphasized: I think this figure is probably an exaggeration.

On October 7, 2023, the Palestinian resistance groups launched the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation from Gaza against the positions of the Israeli regime, and finally, on November 24, 2023, a four-day temporary ceasefire was established, or the pause for the exchange of prisoners between Hamas and Israel.

This pause in the war continued for seven days and finally on Friday morning (December 1, 2023) the temporary ceasefire ended and the Israeli regime resumed attacks against Gaza.

In order to compensate for its failure and stop the resistance operations, this regime has closed the crossings of the Gaza Strip and is bombing this area.
