American media: Trump stands to lose if the ceasefire fails.

According to the American publication, the recent escalation in Gaza was the most dangerous violation of the ceasefire agreement.

The Intercept continued its report by adding that the attacks began after US Secretary of State Marco Rubio visited a new US military base in Israel.

The media outlet emphasized that all eyes are on Washington to determine whether the country will take action or continue its usual vigilance.

According to IRNA, the Israeli regime again targeted areas of the Gaza Strip with heavy airstrikes on Tuesday night. The attack came an hour after the Prime Minister’s Office claimed that Hamas had targeted an Israeli soldier in Rafah in violation of the agreement.

Meanwhile, sources close to the military stressed that there was no evidence to confirm that Hamas was involved in the killing of the Israeli soldier.

More than 100 Palestinians, including 46 children, were killed in the Gaza Strip in Israeli attacks on Tuesday night, in what the Palestinian Health Ministry said was a violation of the ceasefire that began on October 10.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the new Israeli attacks also wounded 253 people, including 78 children and 84 women.

According to the ministry, at least 211 people have been killed and 597 others wounded in Israeli attacks since the ceasefire began on October 10.

The Israeli army claimed on Wednesday morning that it had resumed the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip on the orders of the regime’s political leadership.

Barak Ravid, a Zionist correspondent for the American website Axios, previously reported on the US president’s warning to the Israeli prime minister, citing a senior American official who said that “if Netanyahu fails the agreement, Donald Trump will also fail and overthrow Netanyahu.”

According to the Zionist journalist, the American official, noting that “Netanyahu is walking a very thin rope with the US president,” warned that “if he continues this process, he will ultimately lead to the failure of the (ceasefire) agreement.”

An American official, who asked not to be named, had previously told the Israeli Channel 11 TV (Kan): “(The) Israeli regime must stop taking foolish actions that jeopardize the agreement and destroy the possibility of achieving regional progress.”

The Israeli media outlet reported that the United States is putting unusual pressure on the regime’s leaders not to disrupt the agreement on the ceasefire and reconstruction of Gaza and to continue implementing Trump’s initiative.

The report indicates that after the visit of US Vice President J.D. Vance, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has also traveled to occupied Palestine, and this airlift of American officials will continue.
