American sources: Biden did not get permission from Israel to announce the ceasefire plan in Gaza

PNN – American sources said that Joe Biden “did not get permission” from Israel to announce a ceasefire plan in Gaza, and the purpose of this action was to put pressure on Benjamin Netanyahu to accept the cessation of hostilities.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network from Reuters, quoting three American officials who asked not to be named, wrote that Washington’s decision to unilaterally announce this plan was deliberate and reduced the possibility of Hamas and Israel abandoning an agreement.

One of these officials stated: We have obtained permission to announce this plan. We told the Israelis that we wanted to give a speech about the situation in Gaza, but we did not go into details.

The President of the United States claimed that the Zionist regime presented a new proposal for establishing a ceasefire and exchange of prisoners and asked the parties not to miss this opportunity and reach an agreement on this proposal; A proposal that includes the release of Zionist prisoners and the reconstruction of Gaza.

According to this alleged plan, first a 6-week ceasefire will be established, during which Hamas and the Zionist regime will negotiate to find a way to end the war. However, if the negotiations last more than 6 weeks, the temporary ceasefire will be extended until a final agreement is reached to end the war.

The President of the United States of America announced that the first stage of this 3-stage plan of the Zionist regime, which it claims has been handed over to Hamas, includes a complete ceasefire, the withdrawal of the Zionist regime’s soldiers from populated areas in Gaza, the release of some prisoners and the handing over of the bodies of some of the prisoners, the return of Palestinian civilians to their homes in Gaza and humanitarian aid will increase.

Also, the second phase of this plan includes the permanent end of hostilities, interaction for the release of the remaining captives, and the withdrawal of the Zionist military from Gaza.

In the third phase, this plan also includes the main plan for the reconstruction of Gaza and the delivery of the bodies of the prisoners to their families.

Jeremy Suri, a professor at the University of Austin in Texas, told Reuters that Biden’s comments that the deal was “suggested by Israel” were intended to raise hopes for a ceasefire and put pressure on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Suri added: Biden is trying to put Netanyahu in a tight spot to accept this offer.

Asked if Biden’s plan announcement was an attempt to put pressure on Netanyahu, an Israeli official said that no one can stop Israel from destroying Hamas.

Thomas Alan Schwartz, a professor at Dunderbilt University in the US state of Tennessee, said: By announcing that Israel has agreed to this agreement, Biden has put Israel in a difficult position to say “no”. Perhaps in this way he tried to influence the internal politics of Israel.
