PNN – The controversial and shocking policies of the Donald Trump administration have mobilized various segments of America, who have been affected by the political, economic, social, and legal changes brought about by his decisions, to express their opposition.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Reuters news agency wrote, As the Trump administration begins its efforts to quickly fire federal employees, the United States will see 1,200 protests, which organizers say are expected to be the largest single-day demonstration against Trump and his ally Elon Musk.
With these protests, Trump’s opponents will have an opportunity to express their widespread dissatisfaction with Trump’s executive orders in the areas of domestic and foreign policy.
About 150 anti-Trump activists have announced that they will participate in the demonstration.
These protests are taking place in all 50 US states and in Canada, England, France, Germany, Mexico and Portugal, and one of the largest protest gatherings is expected to be held in Washington DC.
Trump returned to the White House on January 20 with a wave of executive orders and measures that his critics say are in line with plans outlined in the so-called Project 2025.
Many of Trump’s plans have been met with complaints from his opponents, who claim that the US president has overstepped his authority by trying to fire government employees and deport immigrants.
Protest groups announced in various statements that pro-Palestinian groups and opponents of the Israeli regime’s renewed military action in Gaza and the Trump administration’s suppression of student protests will also participate in the massive demonstrations in Washington.
The Indivisible organization, which was formed to defend democracy and defeat Trump’s agenda after Trump’s first election in 2016, is one of the organizers of this demonstration and is working with other liberal groups in America to create unity among progressive organizations in America.
Protests by thousands in New York City and other Tesla dealerships have been a regular occurrence in the United States. Protesters often chant slogans such as “Burn Tesla: Save Democracy” and “We don’t want a dictatorship in America.”
Elon Musk, the world’s richest person, and the head of the newly created department, has launched an unprecedented effort to shrink the federal government, leading to the layoffs of thousands of employees and the termination of hundreds of contracts.
According to announced statistics, at least 100,000 federal government employees have been fired since Trump took office.
