PNN – At the same time as the first televised debate of the four candidates for the seat of Southern California in the US Senate, hundreds of American students gathered in protest against the brutal attacks of the Zionist regime on Gaza and demanded an immediate ceasefire in this conflict.
According to Pakistan News Network’s report from the American publication “Politico”, American students, including many Jewish students, rallied outside the University of Southern California (USC) Boward Hall yesterday to protest the continued war in Gaza and the increasing number of civilian casualties there.
The group of protesters held signs that read: “Your voters want this: a cease-fire”, “Jews oppose genocide”.

According to the report, they considered holding their rally right when the main candidates for the US Senate seat in Southern California are having a televised debate and said that their goal is to tell the ruling elite that there is a profound difference between the opinions of voters about the genocide in Gaza and the positions of their elected representatives.
As pro-Palestinian protests continued, Republican candidates Reps. Barbara Lee, Katie Porter and Adam Schiff, and Steve Garvey took to the debate stage to discuss the biggest issues facing California voters in the upcoming election.
