PNN – The Zionist researcher warned of a serious decline in support for Israel among the American people and the Democratic Party, saying: The Zionist regime’s decision-makers must adopt an appropriate solution to resolve this issue.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Ma’ariu, Shoghi Friedman, a writer and researcher on the Zionist regime, addressed the issue of the serious decline in American public support for the Zionist regime in an article and said: Despite US President Donald Trump’s increasing support for the Zionist regime, the reality outside the White House is different. Among American public opinion, support for the Zionist regime is decreasing and support for the Palestinians is increasing.
He emphasized: Currently, in addition to the Zionist regime’s cooperation with the current US administration, Israeli decision-makers (regime) must also be aware of this warning and take the necessary measures accordingly.
According to Ma’ariv, a Gallup poll, one of the most reputable polling institutions in the United States, this year shows that the American public’s support for the Zionist regime is only 46 percent, which is the lowest level in the last 24 years (after the second intifada). This situation comes at a time when support for this regime among Republican Party supporters is 75%, and among Democratic Party supporters, only 21% feel sympathy for the Zionist regime, compared to 59% who support the Palestinians.

The author added: After decades of bipartisan support for the Zionist regime in America, the Israeli (regime) sided with the Republican Party and supported it. However, following the increase in support for the Zionist regime in the first months of the war, the regime expanded its attacks on Gaza, and the showing of images of the war from Gaza on US television caused support among the American public to reach its current low and the Democratic Party to plummet.
Even among Jews, especially the younger generation, support for Zionism is declining. Older generations of American Jews saw Zionism as an integral part of their Jewish identity, while younger people, especially liberals, have a different view of the regime. They see Israel not as a moral model, but as promoting hardline religious policies by oppressing Palestinians.
According to Friedman, although the war and the rise of anti-Semitism in the United States caused some Jews to significantly re-support the Zionist regime, left-wing Jewish groups prefer not to support this regime.
The Zionist author emphasized that to change this trend, the regime must, in addition to strengthening its relations with Democrats and American Jews, invest in larger audiences such as the Hispanic minority, the African-American community, and evangelicals, in order to maintain and strengthen support for the regime among them.
The US president has previously said that federal funding for any college, school or university that allows illegal protests will be completely cut off. He added that protesters will be either imprisoned or permanently deported to their country of origin, and American students will be permanently expelled or arrested, depending on the crime.
Critics say Trump and his allies have repeatedly conflated criticism of Israel with persecution of Jews, and pro-Palestinian protesters are regularly and unfairly boycotted.
