American think tank’s analysis of Hamas tactics to hit the Israelis.
The War Studies think tank in Washington analyzed the tactics of the Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, to attack the Zionist regime in Gaza.
This think tank wrote that while Hamas fighters are trying to use their main defensive tactics against Israeli forces in the center of Gaza City, they are using “hit and run” tactics against Israelis in northern Gaza.
Harassing Israeli forces in northern Gaza with anti-tank rockets and mortar shells, while maintaining more advanced weapons and tactics, is consistent with Hamas’s goal of waging a protracted war to force Israel into a ceasefire, according to the think tank.
The analysis of this research center states: “Hamas has not yet used its more sophisticated systems and tactics, such as improvised explosive devices, explosive penetrators, advanced anti-tank missiles, or more sophisticated roadside explosive devices.”
According to the report, this means that Hamas has focused its main focus on Gaza City rather than the northern Gaza Strip.
