Americans blame Trump’s policies for worsening economic conditions.
According to Al Jazeera Qatar, a CNN poll found that 59 percent of Americans believe that Donald Trump’s policies have worsened the economic situation in the United States.
In the same poll, 69 percent of respondents considered the possibility of an economic recession next year likely; of these, 32 percent assessed the occurrence of a recession as “very likely.”
This is while Trump, on the occasion of the 100th day of his second term, claimed in statements that he had broken all records set by previous administrations in the first 100 days of his presidency.
He also claimed to be trying to attract the best and most committed domestic forces to the US government, claiming: “During this historic period, the recruited cadres and the forces that will be recruited in the future will play a fundamental role in the country’s entry into a “golden age.”
On the other hand, the White House also claimed on this occasion: During the first 100 days of his presidency, Trump has succeeded in attracting investments worth more than $5.3 trillion and has created 451,000 new jobs.
