PNN – The US government claimed on Thursday that the agreement between Saudi Arabia and the Zionist regime and the normalization of relations is in the interest of both sides.
According to Pakistan News Network’s report from “Al Jazeera English”, Mohammed bin Salman, the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, said on Wednesday that it will strive to establish an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, and we confirm that Saudi Arabia will not establish diplomatic relations with Israel without an independent Palestinian state.
The US State Department played down these statements and noted that Saudi Arabia has long wanted a two-state solution and a ceasefire in Gaza.
State Department spokesman Matthew Miller told reporters: It’s getting harder to do things every day. This is just a fact.
He continued: However, we still believe that in the long run, the normalization of relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel is in the interest of both sides. We are obviously fully aware of the challenges we face to achieve this goal. Clashes in Gaza continue. We continue to work to achieve a ceasefire.
The Zionist Kan network reported that Mohammed bin Salman emphasized in his recent meeting with the head of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, that the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime will not work without solving the Palestinian issue.
Earlier, Faisal Bin Farhan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, said in a statement: We have informed the American government that as long as the independent state of Palestine is not recognized within the framework of the 1967 borders with the capital of East Jerusalem, and the Israeli aggression (regime) on the Gaza Strip is not stopped and all the Israeli occupying forces are not withdrawn from the Gaza Strip, there will be no diplomatic relations with Israel’s regime.
After about 11 months of the war against the Gaza Strip, fierce clashes between the occupying regime soldiers and resistance fighters are going on in different areas of this strip.
This war, which the Zionist regime launched with the two declared goals of destroying the Hamas movement and returning the Zionist prisoners on October 7, 2203, has not reached its goals so far.
