PNN – An Iraqi lawmaker has dismissed reports about the withdrawal of U.S. forces from the country as false.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al-Maalomah, Iraqi MP Yusuf al-Kalabi said the published reports regarding the pullout of American troops from Iraq are lies and deception.

He added that the United States is actually reinforcing its military presence at existing bases in Iraq. Washington, he noted, is spreading false reports of an “imaginary withdrawal” while at the same time seeking to increase the number of its forces.
Al-Kalabi stressed that U.S. troops freely move between Syria and Iraq, and urged the government to take action against violations of the country’s sovereignty.
It is worth noting that Harir base in northern Iraq has recently witnessed the transfer of military equipment from Qatar to Iraq.
