PNN – Ziad Al-Nakhale, Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement and the accompanying delegation, met and talked with the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, on Tuesday evening about the situation of Gaza.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Ayatollah Khamenei, in this meeting, congratulated the victory of the resistance in Gaza and emphasized: The great work of the leaders and fighters of the Palestinian resistance in “unity and cohesion” and “standing” against the enemy and in advancing the complex process of negotiations, as well as the patience and perseverance of the people, made the resistance proud in the region.
The leader of the revolution described and noted the victory of the Islamic resistance and the people of Gaza against the Zionist and American enemy with greatness: this victory created a new quorum in the resistance struggle.
Ayatollah Khamenei, referring to some stupid American plans or some other plans regarding Gaza and Palestine, said: These plans will not reach anywhere, and those who claimed to destroy the resistance in a short period of time a year and a half ago, are now handing over their prisoners in small groups of resistance fighters and in return freeing a large number of Palestinian prisoners.
He called the resistance’s way of handing over the Zionist prisoners an embodiment of the greatness of the resistance in front of the eyes of the world and added: Now the world public opinion is in favor of Palestine and in this situation no plan will be completed without the consent of the resistance and the people of Gaza.
The Secretary General of the Islamic Jihad of Palestine considered the field and political “unity and coherence” of the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance groups as one of the influential factors in the victory of Gaza and while presenting a report on the latest developments in Gaza and the West Bank and the process of negotiations and the agreement reached, he emphasized: We will never forget the path of resistance and as resistance soldiers, we will continue this path.
