PNN – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) on Wednesday called on President-elect Donald Trump to follow through on his campaign promise to pursue peace abroad, including ending Israel’s war on the Gaza Strip.
According to Pakistan News Network’s report from “Anatoli”, The Muslim American group also urged Democratic officials to learn from the support for Vice President Kamala Harris among Muslims and other voters opposed to the Gaza genocide.
CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad said in a statement that no politician or party owns the Muslim vote.
Awad said it is now important for the president-elect to know that most Americans, including Muslim Americans who supported him, do not want to see more war abroad. The president-elect must fulfill his campaign promise to pursue peace abroad, including ending the war in Gaza. However, it must be a real peace based on justice, freedom and a state for the Palestinian people.

Trump has repeatedly announced that if he wins the election, he will quickly end the war in Gaza.
But he has not yet announced the details of his plan to establish peace.
The Zionist regime has started a devastating war against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, and during this period, 70% of the houses and infrastructures in the Gaza Strip have been severely damaged, and the miserable siege and severe humanitarian crisis, along with the unprecedented famine and hunger, have cost the lives of the residents of this area.
Despite all these crimes, the Zionist regime has admitted that after more than a year of war and committing all kinds of crimes, it has not yet been able to achieve its goals of this war, which is to destroy the Hamas movement and return the Zionist prisoners from the Gaza Strip.
