An American official: Surrendering Nasrallah by bombarding Lebanon is a stupid idea

PNN – The Washington Post quoted an American official as saying on Wednesday night: It is foolish to think that Nasrallah will surrender with heavy airstrikes.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Washington Post, quoting an official of the US Defense Ministry, also reported that the Biden administration disagrees about Israel’s military attack against Hezbollah.

He added: The policy of the United States of America in military support for Israel is not a blank check.

This Pentagon official, whose name was not mentioned, said: We informed Israel that our support for them will not be unconditional.

He added that we announced to Israel that Tel Aviv cannot start a new war front without consequences.

The Pentagon official added: Opening a new front will not be the fastest way to return the residents of northern Israel.

The US Defense Ministry official added: Defense Minister Lloyd Austin had clearly said that any opening of a war front with Hezbollah would not be a way to reduce tensions.

The Washington Post quoted this official of the US Department of Defense as saying: Since the start of the war with Hezbollah, we have not received a request from Israel to help Tel Aviv.

This Pentagon official told the Washington Post: If Israel’s air defense is under pressure, the US military is ready to help Tel Aviv.

On the other hand, an official in the US government told the Washington Post: Biden and his deputies, including National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, are trying to reach a diplomatic solution to the Lebanon war.

Several US and Israeli officials also told The Washington Post that there was uncertainty about how a deal could be reached in the short term.

An unnamed Israeli official also claimed in an interview with the Washington Post: The military operation in Lebanon was not started with the aim of starting a large-scale war.

This Zionist official claimed: The main factor in Israel’s strategy is deterrence, and we will never allow Hezbollah to lead us to an attrition war.
