Abdul Aziz was one of the first doctors who closed his practice in Egypt and voluntarily traveled to Gaza to treat the wounded.

He reported on a large amount of destruction and devastation in different areas of Gaza and added that it is difficult to find a house that is suitable for living, tens of thousands of people are present in gatherings that are not worthy of human beings, and many families live only with Blankets create privacy for themselves and have no shade except the sky. They do not have drinking water, toilets, or any means of subsistence, and they do not receive regular food. The magnitude of the disaster in Gaza is beyond imagination.

This Egyptian doctor pointed out that the people of Gaza have no shelter and this miserable situation will continue, because there is no suitable place for construction and the construction debris and ruins caused by Israeli attacks must be dismantled to allow construction. would have existed.

Health situation in Gaza

Abdul Aziz gave an overview of the health situation in the Gaza Strip and said that medical teams are suffering from a severe lack of supplies. Their number is also very low due to martyrdom or arrest, but at the same time, they continue to work with strength despite being extremely tired. The number of injured people in Gaza is over 70,000, most of whom have broken bones or deep wounds, or their veins and arteries have been severed.

He continues that natural diseases also spread as a result of overcrowding and in many cases doctors are forced to amputate and very painful scenes are created in hospitals.

The legendary persistence of the people of Gaza

At the same time, this Egyptian doctor praised the standing of the people of Gaza and emphasized that no one can break their will, patience, and gratitude. Despite all these problems, they insist on remaining in their land.

Dr. Ahmed Abdulaziz entered this area with the first medical staff after the Gaza war and has been in northern Gaza for 195 days now. He says: I was 75 years old at that time and I came here because I don’t need the rest of my life.
