Before that, the Soroka Hospital announced on the first day of the new year that it received 9 wounded Israeli soldiers in just 24 hours.
Yediot Aharanot wrote at the bottom of his report that since the beginning of the Gaza war, 2,384 soldiers with varying degrees of injuries have been transferred to Soroka Hospital and have been discharged from the army.
