Analysts: Trump has reached a stalemate in Yemen; ceasefire agreement likely.

According to Al Jazeera, six weeks after the start of the brutal US attacks on residential areas in Yemen, the country’s armed forces continue their operations in the Red Sea and against the occupied territories. This indicates the ineffectiveness of the US attacks.

Political analyst Liqa Makki emphasized in an interview with Al Jazeera that the US suffered a severe defeat against the Ansar Allah forces. The country is talking about an alternative scenario, which is to stop the attacks on Yemen. Trump has reached a deadlock about Yemen and has become powerless despite the US military’s power.

He said: I think an imminent ceasefire in Gaza may be achieved before Trump visits the region so that the Yemenis stop their operations.

Military and strategic affairs analyst Elias Hanna also said that Trump’s upcoming visit to the region requires the realization of peace; Trump cannot travel to the region while Ansar Allah is carrying out missile operations.
