Ankara: Israelis have no right to talk about the law

PNN – Responding to the accusations of the Israelis, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Thursday morning that the perpetrators of crimes against humanity in the Gaza Strip and Palestine will be tried sooner or later.

According to the International group of Pakistan News Network, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel’s interim foreign minister Eli Cohen’s accusations against Turkey after President Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan’s criticism of the attacks on Gaza were accompanied by Ankara’s reaction.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry issued a statement early on Thursday and said: “The Israeli authorities, who entered the dark pages of history by oppressing and killing the Palestinian people, have no right to talk about the law.”

“Netanyahu and Cohen cannot cover up their crimes with baseless accusations against Erdogan,” the statement said.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey stated: “The perpetrators of these crimes against humanity, which have provoked the deep anger of the world public opinion, will be brought to justice sooner or later.”

The statement continues: “The Israeli authorities, who have lost their legitimacy in the conscience of humanity, cannot hide the crimes they committed by bombing hospitals and killing women and children in front of the eyes of the whole world, and they cannot divert attention.”

In the end, the ministry stressed: “Turkey will continue to stand against the killings in the Gaza Strip and support the just cause of the Palestinian people.”

On Wednesday, during a speech at the meeting of the ruling Justice and Development Party, ErdoÄŸan called the Zionist regime a “terrorist state”.

Afterward, Tel Aviv officials accused Erdogan of supporting terrorism as well as “standing on the wrong side of history, alongside Iran, Syria, and Lebanon.”
