According to “Sputnik” news agency, Kecheli explained in a statement: “As the history of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict has shown, the more Israel oppresses the Palestinians and deprives them of their basic freedoms, the more resistance they will face and the more Palestinians will defend their collective and individual rights.”

He continued: “The root of this conflict is the occupation of Palestinian lands by Israel, as well as the expansionist and oppressive mentality that completely ignores [international] laws and human rights.”

Earlier, the foreign minister of the Zionist regime claimed that Turkey can be a “host” for Hamas members who can leave the Gaza Strip if they are not killed in the war.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan called Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the “Butcher of Gaza” recently.
