So far, a number of settlers around Gaza have told the media that on the day of the Al-Aqsa storm operation, Israeli soldiers were attacked and their story was published in the media. In the latest example, Israel’s Channel 12 published a report that revealed a great disgrace to the Israeli army. This network published a video showing an Israeli army tank in Kibbutz “Beiri” targeting a house where Hamas forces were present along with settler prisoners.
The images of this tank shooting were recorded by an Israeli police helicopter.
One of the settlers named Yasmin Burat, who escaped from the Raim music festival on the day of the Hamas attack and hid in one of the houses of the Beiri kibbutz, told Israel Channel 12: “I told one of the soldiers not to let the tank’s bullets hurt the kidnapped people, but the soldier told me not to worry, the tank only shot at the walls of the house, but the tank was destroyed, then another tank came and shot at the house.”
A female eyewitness, a resident of Kibbutz Beiri, said in a Hebrew-language radio program on the Day of Operation of the Resistance Fighters that Hamas forces treated the prisoners with kindness and that it was the Israeli police who shelled their place of detention.
He said: “40 armed men came and took us to a house; They treated us kindly; They asked us to call the police and warn them not to do anything; Then intense shooting started from all sides; After that, an armed man who was talking to us grabbed me and took me outside. Meanwhile, the police forces targeted the place where the prisoners were kept with a mortar and all the people inside, including the prisoners, were killed. That armed person with me was also arrested.”
Israel’s helicopter fired at the Khudi tank
In another full-blown scandal, some Israeli soldiers told Haaretz that on the day of the Hamas attack, a police helicopter fired a warning shot at an army tank, then another tank came and fired at the house.
Also, a protection group from the kibbutz told Channel 12: “500 army soldiers remained outside the kibbutz and did not enter, while the prisoners were bleeding.”
Yair Avital, one of the reserve forces stationed in the settlements, also said: “500 soldiers were standing outside and no one was taking care of this issue; People were losing blood every minute and the army standing outside didn’t know what was happening here.”
“Hadas Dagan”, another settler who was hiding outside his house with his wife, said that a mortar hit their neighbor’s house and he was also hit by a mortar shell.
Not long ago, Haaretz newspaper reported that an Israeli police helicopter targeted the people participating in the “Raim” music festival while trying to shoot at the Palestinian forces on the day of the Hamas attack. After that, the Israeli police denied Haaretz’s report in a statement.
Until this moment, due to the severe censorship of information in the Israeli army, the authorities of this regime have not been willing to admit these suicides.
