According to the report of Pakistan News Network, informed sources told Politico that some Arab countries, including the UAE, are trying to impose restrictions on the US’s use of their country’s soil for airstrikes against resistance movements in the Middle East. In explaining the reason for this decision, these sources said that these countries do not want to be known as friends of the West and “Israel” in the eyes of public opinion.
According to this report, an American official and several Western officials considered the increase in the number of civilian victims in Gaza and the desire of these countries to converge with Iran to be the reason for this decision. An American official has said that some Arab countries have restricted the use of American military bases and the movement of warplanes from these bases for air strikes.
