PNN – An Arab-language media reported the defeat suffered by the Zionist regime and its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the case of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian refugees known as UNRWA and wrote: Israel was slapped hard.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, in an article, Rai Elyoum addressed the failure of the Zionist regime’s actions against the UNRWA agency and wrote that the accusations against this agency regarding the participation of its employees in the Al-Aqsa storm operation were unsubstantiated accusations that were brought against UNRWA by some Western countries and its allies such as Japan in order to stop aid to it. Also, in the sensitive situation where the people of the Gaza Strip were exposed to the war of genocide and starvation, UNRWA should have acted more actively, instead of cutting off its financial support.

Rai Elium continued: The Israeli regime was slapped in this case and a number of countries including France, Canada, Australia, Sweden, Norway, Spain and Japan decided to resume aid to UNRWA. The fatal blow was delivered by Germany, one of Tel Aviv’s supporters, which announced its determination to resume aid to UNRWA.
Following the claims made by the Zionist regime of Israel in January 2024 regarding the possible participation of 12 UNRWA employees in the Al-Aqsa storm operation, a research group was established. In the following weeks, many of UNRWA’s funding countries suspended or stopped their aid of about 450 million dollars to the organization.
The results of an independent investigation by UNRWA, published on Monday, show the international body’s “impartiality” and say the Israeli regime has not provided evidence for its claims about some of the agency’s staff.
According to the report, UNRWA remains “irreplaceable and unavoidable”.
