PNN – Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi announced today (Tuesday) in a press conference with his Pakistani counterpart that, unlike the Israeli regime, the Islamic Republic of Iran does not seek tension, but recognizes its right to defend itself according to the United Nations Charter.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the head of Iran’s diplomatic service emphasized that Tehran, unlike the Zionist regime, never wants to escalate tensions, but according to Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, it has the full right to defend itself, and according to the time and situation determined by Iran, we will respond to this aggression of the Zionist regime.
He added: The barbaric nature of the Zionists in Gaza and Lebanon has become more prominent with the escalation of aggression and reckless attacks.
Appreciating the positions of the Pakistani statesmen against the aggression of the Zionist regime, the Iranian Foreign Minister said: We appreciate the clear and clear position of the Prime Minister of Pakistan against the aggression of Israel.
Araghchi continued: Unfortunately, the international community has failed to stop the Zionist regime, its genocide and aggression, which endangers peace and stability in the region and the world.
He added: Efforts have been made by several countries to deal with these crises and stop the crimes of the Zionist regime. We are working on a solution to stop these atrocities and reduce the suffering of the people of Gaza and Lebanon at the upcoming meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, especially as winter approaches, the conditions of the homeless and refugees in Gaza and Lebanon will become more difficult.
The head of Iran’s diplomatic service added: Pakistan has continuously shown its efforts and active participation by consulting and exchanging views regarding the latest developments in the region.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran stated that the purpose of this round of negotiations was “to promote all-round relations between Iran and Pakistan, focusing on bilateral relations, especially in commercial and economic fields.”
Referring to the phenomenon of terrorism, he called it an “unfortunate and common threat to the two countries and the entire region, as well as a collective threat on a global scale to the entire international community” and stated: Considering this challenge and threat, we emphasize our commitment to fight it bilaterally and in the form of mutual cooperation, as well as with the cooperation of regional countries.
Araghchi added: Currently, Iran and Pakistan are interacting with each other at various levels, including military, security and political channels, to fight terrorism.
Islamabad’s emphasis on strong positions with Tehran against Israel
In this news conference, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan also condemned the aggressive crime of the Zionist regime against the Islamic Republic of Iran and emphasized the strong positions of Tehran and Islamabad against Israel’s illegal actions in the occupied territories.

Although its final plan has not been announced, at the same time, Iran and Pakistan continue their efforts to help the Palestinians and the ceasefire.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan considered terrorism and extremism as a serious threat to the region and an obstacle to the growth and development of the countries in the region and said that Tehran is determined to cooperate against the threat of terrorism and expand bilateral cooperation.
