PNN – Iran’s Foreign Minister stated in an interview with Al Jazeera that zero percent enrichment is outside the scope of negotiations with the United States.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, who traveled to Qatar to participate in the Al Jazeera Forum, said in an interview with Al Jazeera about yesterday’s Iran-US talks in Muscat: The talks with Washington were a good start and we have a long way to go to build trust.
He emphasized: The negotiations with Washington are indirect and only deal with the nuclear issue.
Our country’s Foreign Minister, emphasizing that enrichment is our inalienable right and must continue, stated: Even with bombing, they could not destroy our capabilities. Zero percent enrichment is outside the scope of negotiations. The level of enrichment depends on our needs, and enriched uranium will not leave Iran.
Araqchi also said: At present, no specific date has been set for the second round of negotiations, but we and Washington believe that this meeting should be held soon.
He continued: The possibility of war always exists, and we are prepared for it (war) and to prevent war.
Our country’s Foreign Minister said: Although the negotiations with the Americans were indirect, there was an opportunity to shake hands with the American delegation.
He added: Iran does not attack neighboring countries, but attacks American bases inside them, and there is a big difference between the two. If Washington attacks, we cannot attack American soil, but we will attack its bases in the region.
