Argentina’s extremist president fires 70,000 civil servants!

In a report, the Bloomberg TV channel claimed that Javier Milli, the president of Argentina, in another move aimed at showing his extreme approach, which he called “chainsaw”, plans to cut 70,000 government employees to reduce costs and shrink the government. Dismiss!

Bloomberg wrote that Milli unveiled this plan during his speech on March 26. In this speech, he mentioned the reduction of local government budgets and the cancellation of more than 200,000 social welfare projects; Plans that, according to him, are corrupt.

According to Bloomberg, although the layoffs represent only a small portion of Argentina’s 3.5 million public sector workforce, influential labor unions are expected to oppose the plan strongly. Also, this plan may greatly reduce his high percentage of satisfaction.

One of Argentina’s labor unions had planned strikes at the same time as Mili’s speech. Also, a government report has emphasized the significant reduction in the salaries of private sector workers since Milli came to power.
