Aviation circles: Iran’s mobile defense hunts down expensive aircraft

PNN – Aviation circles noted Iran’s significant increase in defense capabilities, despite Trump’s claims.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the astonishment of Western media at Iran’s defensive tone is increasing day by day. Donald Trump had said that 100% of the combat capability of the Iranian armed forces had been suppressed and that the country’s fighters were operating freely, but first several expensive drones were shot down and then an F-35 fifth-generation fighter was damaged.

According to English-language aviation news sources, the US press service published images of the Majid air defense system being hit. The system is tactical range and is mounted on a truck. Its range is only 8 kilometers, but it is mobile and its detection system is passive, meaning it is more difficult to detect.

According to the report, this answer is part of the question of how the Iranians have been able to maintain their air defense capabilities, and it lies in a change in tactics. The Iranians now operate through ambushes, meaning that the defense system along with the complex’s radar is constantly turned off, which allows it to remain undetected by American and Israeli reconnaissance tools, because it is precisely during the radar’s operation that the supposed station is identified and then hit.

The report concludes: Iran now relies on mobile air defenses that are activated only at the right moment. The defense systems, which are usually infrared (heat-seeking) missiles, hit the identified target, immediately after which, whether the defense system or the radar is turned off, they change their position. This tactic is simple but effective in its essence.
