Axios: The condition of the Israelis for the return of the residents of northern Gaza.
Two senior Zionist officials told the “Axios” news website that until Hamas accepts the prisoner exchange agreement, this regime will not allow the return of residents of northern Gaza.
“Axios” news site reported on Tuesday morning that the officials of the Zionist regime will discuss the conditions for the return of the residents of the northern Gaza Strip to their homes in a meeting with the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
Two senior Zionist officials told Axios that until Hamas accepts the prisoner exchange agreement, this regime will not allow residents of northern Gaza to return.
“Palestinian civilians should be able to return to their homes as soon as possible,” Blinken said during a joint press conference with Qatar’s foreign minister on Sunday. They should not be forced to leave Gaza.”
According to Axios, the Tel Aviv cabinet, while not opposed in principle to allowing Palestinians to return to the northern Gaza Strip, plans to ask Blinken to make this part of a new prisoner exchange deal.
The sources also said: “Israeli and American hostages are still being held in Gaza. In our opinion, we will find out in the next few weeks whether there will be a new agreement for their release or not.”
Earlier, following the terrorist act of the Zionist regime in the assassination of Saleh al-Aroori, the deputy head of defense of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement in Beirut, the Hamas movement informed the mediators that all negotiations regarding the release of prisoners in Gaza have been suspended until further notice.
