“Aya Khattab” was sentenced to 4 years in prison.
According to the Palestinian media, the Palestine Prisoners’ Club announced on Monday that the number of women prisoners in the prisons of the Zionist regime has increased to 37.
This legal center emphasized that the Zionist court had sentenced Ayat Khatib, a Palestinian woman living in the occupied territories in 1948, to 4 years in prison and to pay a financial fine of 25,000 shekels (the currency of the Zionist regime).
This Palestinian lady, who was under house arrest since 2 years ago, has been transferred to prison since today.
It should be noted that this Palestinian woman was arrested by Israeli soldiers in February 2020 and has been under house arrest since then and will serve the sentence issued today.
