PNN – Iraqi sources announced that Baghdad has banned Syrians from entering the country during the Arbaeen ceremony.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Iraqi media Baghdad Al-Youm, quoting a security source of the country, announced that Syrians were banned from entering the country.

This informed Iraqi source announced on Friday that Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani has ordered a complete ban on the entry of Syrians into Iraq during the Arbaeen ceremony.

The mentioned source said that Mohammad Shia al-Sudani has issued an order to completely prohibit the entry of Syrians into Iraqi territory, and this decision even includes those who have official monthly or annual visas.

This source emphasized: This action was taken in the framework of security and administrative measures for the Arbaeen ceremony of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
