Baghdad: Europe should take a clear stand against the crimes against humanity in Gaza.
The Prime Minister of Germany talked to the Prime Minister of Iraq on the phone about the latest developments in the region the situation in Palestine and the war of the Zionist regime against Gaza.
German Prime Minister Olaf Schultz discussed with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani over the phone the relations between the two countries and the latest developments in the region.
In this phone call, Al-Sudani emphasized Iraq’s principled position towards the Palestinian issue and the aggression of the Zionist regime against the occupied lands and the Palestinian nation.
According to the Iraqi News Agency (WAA), al-Sudani also asked the German Prime Minister that the European Union take a clear position regarding the condemnation of aggression and crimes against humanity that the defenseless Palestinian nation is facing in its own land.
He added that the events in Gaza today are a moral test for the world community and great powers.
Schultz also said that his country is working to establish a ceasefire in Gaza and help send humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
He emphasized Germany’s interest in continuing dialogue with the aim of achieving a peaceful solution to crises and establishing stability in the region.
