PNN – The Shiite leader of Bahrain issued a statement, stating: Ayatollah Khamenei is a figure who is at the pinnacle of lofty peaks scientifically, spiritually, and politically; a leader for whom millions of great men and women in Iran sacrifice their lives and consider his command to be a religious command that is not permissible to violate, and they consider his health to be the result of the health of Islam and the nation.
Ayatollah Isa Qassim issued a statement following the insult by US President Trump against the Leader of the Islamic Revolution. The text of the statement is as follows: It is clear to all that today the world, among the vast majority of nations and its small and large states—whether those opposed to the United States or those considered its friends—is experiencing deep anxiety about its own fate and the fate of the entire world.
This anxiety stems from a pervasive and destructive danger in which no voice is heard except that of overwhelming material power, in the complete absence of reason, religion, morality, and the logic of noble human nature. The primary source of this widespread global fear is the unrestrained policies of the US president and his comprehensive, destructive approach to achieving arrogant domination over the world.
In light of this reality, a question arises about the kind of “reform” that Trump deems obligatory for the supreme leadership of the Islamic Republic. A leadership endowed with qualities of perfection that led to massive, million-strong demonstrations filling the streets of this blessed republic in support of him against subversive and malicious movements—movements that the enemy financed, fed, supported, and openly stood by, and for which it resorted to direct intervention against the official system in order, at the appropriate moment and without delay, to crush the people, wealth, infrastructure, and everything upon which people’s lives depend, to destroy the Islamic Republic and leave no opportunity for its return.
Does even a single rational Iranian believe that the aggressive military campaign of the United States and Israel in the twelve-day war, and the subsequent attempt to ignite a direct, harsher, broader, more destructive, and bloodier war, stemmed from Trump’s mercy and his respect and concern for the interests of the Iranian nation and their independence, freedom, and dignity?
Ayatollah Khamenei is a figure who, in scientific, spiritual, and political terms, stands at the summit of lofty peaks, a leader possessing unique distinctions who shines among today’s world leaders.
A leader for whom millions of great men and women in Iran would sacrifice their lives, who regard his command as a religious command that must not be disobeyed, and who consider his well-being to be tied to the well-being of Islam and the Ummah.
A leader whose support base is a vast Ummah spread across the globe, an Ummah that offers its lives for his safety and the continuation of his blessings at the level of the Islamic Ummah and the respected human community. The benefit of this leadership is a universal good for every dignified and righteous human being, and his words, role, and struggle are for the security, peace, goodness, prosperity, and brotherhood of the world.
