According to France 24, in the wake of the wave of arrests of protesters in Turkey, the country’s authorities expelled a BBC journalist.
He was covering news about the widespread protests in Turkey from his hotel in Istanbul when he was arrested by the country’s forces and later expelled.
Turkish authorities announced that the journalist’s activities were a threat to the country.
It should be noted that nearly 2,000 protesters have been arrested in Turkey so far for supporting the mayor of Istanbul.
